Chapter one- the demons plan

Chapter 2
I was sitting by the river watching the doll and Pisces the Fishes when I heard her walking over.
"What are you doing here ? I thought they had agreed to leave me alone."
"I know and I'm sorry to disturb you, but there is a problem and you and your hunters may be the only one that can serve us."
"I'm sorry, but the answer is no, after what they did to me, they're lucky I don't hunt them down and ruin them."
"They wish to apologise, won't you at to the lowest degree get a line them out ?"
"I'm sorry, if I see them again, I will kill them !"
"I had hoped not to have to do this, but do you remember what you said to me before that final stage battle ?"
"Let me opine, you want me to do this as quittance for you saving my life ?"

"Fine, I'll meet them, but I still may decide not to aid them."

"If that's what you want, how soon can you be ready to travel ?"

As she said that I began walking back to the theater to collect my weapons and deck, just in shell. I never really trusted the ancients and I wanted to be prepared just in case.

As we were getting cheeseparing to the Town, I looked over at leviathan and saw that she looked like she wanted to ask me something.
"Is something wrong ? You look like you want to ask me something."
"There is something the others were talking about that I've been wondering about."
"What is it ?"
"Well, it's about Phoenix. I know the two of you were snug booster and I don't believe he really died after that conflict. I guess what I'm trying to say is do you know what really happened ?"
"You're right to doubt what the others told you, he's not truly dead, but he's not exactly alive either."

By the prison term we had finished gathering what supplies we thought we would need it was getting late so we headed away from the markets to try and find someplace to detain for the night. Eventually we found a minor space down a side street that seemed to be quiet enough so we stayed there until sunrise and looked at the map again when we got up.
