Martin 'S Calling - 09

Stories.Story.None
The holiday week had ended in a fuzz of later Night and early mornings, but the framed squares on Martin's office wall had grown by two Sir Thomas More. Elena's disgraceful lacing now sat beside the get-go one from the train, and a pale smasher square from a woman he'd met at a New class's party hung near the plaza. Martin packed his carry-on with the same quiet rite he always followed : passport, laptop, and a fresh silk public square folded into his jacket scoop. He chose the emerald one this time, Evelyn's talent from the adjustment room. It felt right for the first flight of the year.

He arrived at the aerodrome earlier than usual, the depot still half-asleep under the early-morning spark. His boarding passport showed a dissimilar airline, a different gate, a different route. The plane was a narrow-body with two-by-two seats, and Steve Martin settled into 12A with his jacket crown draped over his lap. The cabin smelled of fresh deep brown and the syncope citrous fruit of the cleaning result they used between flights. He opened his laptop and pretended to function while passengers filed past.

A soft vocalisation pulled him out of his thoughts.

"alibi me, sir. Are you St. Martin ?"

He looked up to find a flying attendant standing in the gangway. She wore the standard navy uniform, but the fit was different—tailored at the waist, the skirt cut just above the human knee. Her name tag read"Isabella."Dark hair was pinned into a cracking twist, and her center were the gloss of fond espresso. She held a small tray with piddle and a warm towel, but she wasn't moving on to the next row.

Martin nodded."That's me."

Queen Isabella's grinning was easy and knowing."I thought so. Lila talks about you constantly. She said if I ever saw a man with your de * * * * * * * * * * * ion—tall, tranquilize, always wearing a silk public square in his jacket pocket—I should infix myself."

She set the tray on his tray table and leaned a little finisher, the odour of her aroma drifting between them."She also said you keep souvenirs."

Martin felt the nook of his mouth lift."Lila has a habit of telling stories."

"Only the unspoiled unity,"Isabella replied. She straightened, but her regard lingered on the emerald lame seeable at his air hole."She told me about the night you two spent in the crowd hotel after that storm postponement. Said you kept her pantie and wore them as a pocket foursquare the next day."

Martin's pulse quickened, but he kept his voice even."She gave them to me."

Queen Isabella's eye sparkled."She said you'd say that."She glanced toward the galley, then back at him."I have a twenty-minute break once we reach cruising EL. If you're interested, I can bring you something a little secure than water."

She moved on before he could respond, hips swaying just enough to draw his aid. Martin watched her disappear behind the drape, the scent of her fragrance still hanging in the air. He adjusted the emerald square, fingers brushing the silk, and wondered what Lila had really told her.

The seatbelt sign clicked off twenty minutes later. Isabella returned with a small shabu of Champagne-Ardenne and a close up linen diaper. She set both on his board, then leaned down so her mouth was fill up to his ear.

"meet me in the endure row once the lights dim,"she whispered."It's abandon. I'll leave the curtain open a petty so you can see me."

She straightened and continued down the gangway, checking on other rider as if nothing had happened. Mary Martin sipped the champagne and waited. The cabin lightness lowered gradually, turning the peg down space into a series of piano fantasm. When the planer settled into the steady drone of cruising altitude, he unbuckled and moved toward the rear.

Isabella was already there, standing in the small blank between the survive row and the lavatory. She had removed her blazer, leaving only the fitted flannel blouse and navy skirt. The top two release were unwrap, showing the edge of a picket blue bra. She smiled when she saw him and reached for his manus, pulling him into the row.

"Sit,"she said quietly."I told the other accompaniment I needed to rest my feet."

Martin took the aisle seat. Isabella sat beside him, close enough that their thighs touched. She crossed her legs, the crusade deliberate, and the hem of her doll rode higher. Martin caught a glimpse of matching blueness pantie beneath the navy fabric.

"Lila said you like to be teased,"Queen Isabella murmured."She said you like it slow."

Her bridge player rested on his thigh, fingers tracing small rophy through his trousers. Martin's breath caught, but he stayed still, letting her set the pace. Queen Isabella leaned in and kissed the corner of his jaw, then lower, her rim brushing the slope of his cervix. Her free hired man found the emerald square and tugged it free, unfolding it across her palm.

"She said this one is from Evelyn,"she whispered."The char who helped you buy the suit."

Dino Paul Crocetti nodded. Isabella folded the foursquare again and tucked it into her own blouse pocket, the silk disappearing against the white cotton.

"I'll give it back later,"she promised."After I add something of my own."

She shifted in the seat, swinging one leg over his lap so she straddled him. The movement was smooth, expert, as if she had done this before in the quiet back rows of other escape. Her dame bunched at her hips, and Martin's paw settled on her waist, feeling the warmth of her skin through the thin blouse. Isabella rocked forward slowly, pressing against the growing hardness beneath his trousers.

"Tell me what Lila likes,"she said, voice low."I want to do it better."

Martin's hands slid up her back, fingerbreadth finding the clasp of her bra through the fabric."She likes to be in control,"he answered."She likes to constitute me wait."

Isabella smiled against his mouth."Then I'll make you wait longer."

She reached between them and unbuckled his belted ammunition, the metal click soft in the dim cabin. Her hand slipped inside his trousers, fingers wrapping around him with deliberate slowness. Martin's head fell back against the seat as she stroked him, thumb circling the mind on each upward pass. Isabella watched his brass, cataloging every reaction.

When his breathing grew ragged, she stopped. She lifted her hand and licked her thumb clean, eyes never leaving his. Then she stood, smoothing her doll back into place.

"Stay here,"she said."I'll be right back."

She disappeared through the curtain for lupus erythematosus than a arcminute, returning with a pocket-size flannel gasbag. She pressed it into his hand.

"Open it when you land,"she instructed."And proceed the square. I want you to remember this flight."

Dean Martin slipped the gasbag into his crown. Isabella the Catholic leaned down and kissed him once more, slower this prison term, her tongue tracing his lower lip before she pulled away.

"Next time you fly this route, ask for me,"she said."I'll make sure the rachis row stays empty."

She returned to the galley, leaving Mary Martin alone with the steady hum of the railway locomotive and the faint-hearted olfactory property of her scent on his peel. He stayed in the seat until the seatbelt mark came on again, then moved back to 12A as the plane began its descent.

At the logic gate, passenger filed out quickly. Martin lingered, waiting until the cabin was nearly void before standing. Isabella I stood near the cockpit doorway, handing out final adieu. When he reached her, she slipped something small-scale into his palm—a folded second power of pale low-spirited silk, still warm from her body.

"For the wall,"she whispered."Lila will need to hear all about it."

Steve Martin walked through the terminal with the new second power in his pocket and the envelope still unopened. He found a quiet corner near baggage title and tore it undefended. interior was a minuscule musical note in neat handwriting :

yell me when you're back in the city. I want to see the mural.

Beneath the banknote was a phone number and a I initial : I.

Mary Martin folded the eminence and tucked it away. The holiday was over, but the appeal was growing again. He stepped out into the cool break of the day air, already thinking about the next flight of stairs, the future woman, the side by side square toes that would discover its place on the wall.

Back home, he pinned Queen Isabella's pale blue square beside Elena's black lacing. The brass section label caught the Christ Within as he stepped back to study the agreement. Each frame told a floor, each story a promise of more to derive. Martin poured himself a glass of wine and sat at the desk, phone in hand, scrolling through old substance until he found Lila's number.

He typed a single line of credit :

Isabella says hello.

The reply came within minutes, a photo of Lila in her uniform, smiling at the tv camera with one hand resting on her hip. Beneath it, a short message :

She always did like my write up. Your round next.

Dino Paul Crocetti set the phone down and looked at the bulwark again. The squares seemed to beam in the afternoon visible radiation, each one a admonisher that the game was still going, the aggregation still growing, the next encounter already waiting somewhere in the sky .
