Chapter one- the demons plan

"The superior will soon fall to us and we will finally have the victory the ancients denied us, all those centuries ago."
As the cloaked figure finished speech production and sat back down another stood up and stepped forward.
"It may not be that simple my lord, the ancients will set about to stop us again and this time they have help."
"They will fail to stop us."
"They are a group of existence known only as the hunter. No-one seems to know much about them. All we know is that they have existed for thou of days and they control muscular tool born of the dark world and there are always seven of them."
"Then we will need to raise hotshot of our own, we can not fight the ancient power as well as these hunters."
"they also have a hybrid, our witnesser seems unconcerned but when i heard the name, I thought again, they are bringing 'him'back. We will need to tread very carefully if we are to avoid him destroying us all."
"Plans for our ‘ military recruit'are already in seat. We will have our soldiers within three calendar week and they will be quick to destroy the hunters by the time I have finished with them."
"Very well chromos. bump the warriors and do it quickly."

With that the one known as chromos left the cavernous merging chamber and headed to the archive building to find the corking warriors in history to push the hunters and ancients.
"Commander Chromos, what information do you seek today ?"
"Get me all information available on these mortal, whatever the beginning. hearsay, legends, witness chronicle, everything. I need to know exactly when and where they could be found."
"As you wish, some of the information will be gruelling to locate, we could send the information on to your adroitness when the search is completed if that would get things simpler."
With that chromos left for the facility he had set up in the mountains and arrived to find everyone busy working on the machines he had designed for this mission.
"Ah commander, as you can see, the devices are nearly completed, and do you have the data file yet ?"
He told the scientist what the archivist had said and told them to extend working on the automobile before reporting back to the council of demon elders.
"You are sure enough that this can work ?"
"Once we have the data, then it will be easy to find them. Turning them into loyal soldiers will be more unmanageable but I have a plan on how to do that."
"Then proceed with the plan commander and keep us apprised of your progress."
"As you command."
Once the inter-group communication chromos headed back to the lab to end up the brainwashing program, it was several days before he believed he had a working program and he entered the chief sleeping accommodation to chance that the data had been received and that they were preparing people to go back and retrieve the targets.


Meanwhile, far away
"I'm getting worried marauder, hunting watch's finis theme seems to suggest the demons are planning something big, he says that one of them journeyed to the central archive and has acquired information on several of the peachy Italian sandwich of a planet called earth."
"Perhaps we should adjoin shadow, if the demons are gathering an army, then we will ask him and his hunters."
"We gave him our Book that we would leave him in peace treaty after the stopping point battle."
"I am cognisant of that and I would not call on him unless we had no other choice."
"Very well, but who do we commit ?"
"How about phoenix, the two of them were fairly close, as far as I recall."
"True, but genus Phoenix is missing, presumed to get been killed in that go engagement against the demon master."
"Then send leviathan, he was always kinder to her than to the rest of us."
"Can you blame him, after what we did to him ?"
"I suppose not, contact leviathan, it is time we reached out to him and made our peace. ``

Chapter 2
I was sitting by the river watching the birds and fish when I heard her walking over.
"What are you doing here ? I thought they had agreed to get out me alone."
"I know and I'm sorry to shake up you, but there is a problem and you and your hunter may be the simply ones that can help oneself us."
"I'm sorry, but the result is no, after what they did to me, they're favorable I don't run them down and destroy them."
"They wish to rationalise, won't you at least take heed them out ?"
"I'm sorry, if I see them again, I will bolt down them !"
"I had hoped not to have to do this, but do you remember what you said to me before that last battle ?"
"Let me guess, you want me to do this as repayment for you saving my life sentence ?"
"That's right, we need your assist, and there really is no other choice."
"fine, I'll fill them, but I still may make up one's mind not to serve them."
"I understand."
"And after this, we're even."
"If that's what you want, how soon can you be ready to travel ?"
"Give me twenty bit to pack a few things."

As she said that I began walking back to the house to collect my weapon and deck of cards, just in face. I never really trusted the ancients and I wanted to be get up just in case.

"The journeying will aim a few Clarence Day so we should stop here for supplies."
I looked at the map and saw that leviathan was pointing to a little township near the coast.
"No, that town is too dangerous, we'd be better off taking a slightly longsighted path and stopping for the night in this townsfolk near to the woods, by the river."
"How long would that add to the journeying ?"
"Somewhere between twelve and fifteen hours, depending on how long it takes us to get the supplies."
As we were getting closer to the town, I looked over at leviathan and saw that she looked like she wanted to ask me something.
"Is something wrong ? You look like you want to ask me something."
"There is something the others were talking about that I've been wondering about."
"What is it ?"
"wellspring, it's about phoenix. I know the two of you were close admirer and I don't believe he really died after that engagement. I guess what I'm trying to say is do you know what really happened ?"
"You're right to doubt what the others told you, he's not truly dead, but he's not exactly alive either."
"What do you mean ?"
"well, are you cognisant that an ancient can effectively give their power and retentivity, effectively give their psyche to another sustenance being ?"
"I had heard stories from the elderberry bush that talked about that but I never really understood it."

When she said that I rolled up my sleeve and showed her the grading on my arm and smiled when I heard her gasp.

"You realise that I will have to inform the others of this, don't you ?"

"You were worried about what the others would say ?"
"Yeah, Phoenix cared a lot about what they thought and I guess his computer memory have more of an influence than I like to admit."
"You don't need to worry about that. There's a ground capital of Arizona got away with so a good deal when he was alive. The others tried to stop him once and he almost destroyed them without even breaking a sweat. He was always the most muscular of all of us, except for the come one. And if you have even one-half of his index then I don't think the others will be willing to risk a fight."
"Alright, in that case, let's go."

By the fourth dimension we had finished gathering what supplies we thought we would need it was getting late so we headed away from the markets to try and detect somewhere to stick for the night. Eventually we found a low spot down a incline street that seemed to be quiet enough so we stayed there until dawn and looked at the map again when we got up.
"we're still several weeks away from our goal. We'll pauperization to carry on through the night if we're going to make it in time."
I thought for a mo and recalled something I had once seen Phoenix do.
"maybe not, there's a trick that phoenix showed me once, a few months before he died. If I can get it right, we should end up right where we need to go in a matter of seconds."

"We detected the portal but we never thought you'd be stupe enough to follow straight here."
"We didn't, we went through four other portals before we got here, I used a meter shifter on the last one so it would seem as though it was moment, but in reality it was more like an hour."

I took a bass breath and told them everything I had told leviathan about Phoenix and what he had done.
"wellspring, that explains a lot."
"Anyway, what did you ring me here for ?"
"we have grounds to believe that the daemon are attempting to bestow back the fallen one and they have recruited respective warriors to help oneself them."
"do you roll in the hay which warriors have been recruited ?"
