Jake tried to tuck and roll as he came flying out of the portal. Landing far harder than he thought he would Jake slowly lift checking to shit sure nothing was broken. Trusting his instincts he reached out toward Rasmir as Gen 's father started to fall. Like he thought Truly appeared a moment later as he grabbed her arm.

'' Let me go ! I have to help oneself them ! LET ME GO ! They will die NO ! '' Truly was screaming at Jake hardly recognizing him.

Reaching back Jake slapped Trully, this only increased her screaming. Grimacing Jake slapped her again even harder. This sentence it got the required effect. `` I am here to help ; I ca n't if you are hysterical. ''

A look of anger and hatred quickly evaporating in her optic she threw herself at Jake as she sobbed, `` Thank the slap-up Jinn ! Please like before, I ca n't tell what 's amiss. ''

Nodding Jake touched Trully then looked at Rasmir. It was almost like a drab cloud was covering the quondam djinn choking the life history from him. Truly hissed when she saw it ; `` dark magic ! A truly evil mix ! ''

Jake held his bridge player over Rasmir as Trully poured bluing muscularity into the sr. Jinn for a minute. Suddenly breathing better Rasmir sat up looking startled. `` I was over come ? '' With a sigh he nodded, `` help the Doctor. He and you are the only if I that can bring around everyone. ''

Trully nodded as she grabbed Jake 's hand. A second later they appeared in what appeared to be a mad scientist 's laboratory. Rushing to the Doctor Trully saw that he 'd come alive trying to sit up then falling on his face !

Jake looked at all the council members thinking there had to be something better that they could do. Suddenly an idea hit him. Leaning over he whispered in the Doctor 's ear. The Dr. 's heart got orotund then he smiled.

I am not about to watch as they all die a atrocious death. '' Jake straightened up as he looked around the room Gen was sitting with her mother tears falling from her eyes.

Jake stood in front of the doc, the council and the djinni royals as first the Doctor of the Church powered up, then the council and finally the royals. Though no where as bad as it had been before it was bad enough after a few time. They had finished with the second city they were finally out in the desert.

By now Jake 's skin felt as if it was crawling with ant. Stopping short of the camp of the exiled one several of the council were about to balk. `` No ! I told them they would be treated fairly and I meant it ! We have to assist them or all of this was for nix. They were bad yes, they are being punished. ''

'' Why help those that will only demolish you later ? '' A Pres Young council fellow member asked.
