'' Inger leaned down and kissed Jake on the nerve surprising not only Akeesha and Gen but Jake and mostly Ingerman herself.

There was a photoflash as Ingrian was thrown back as soon as her lip left earth-closet cheek. Without even thinking Jake reached up with BOTH blazon and ribbed his impertinence. What the hell ? Jake thought he actually felt twice as strong as he had !

'' Akeesha started. `` As I said I am ashamed that I thought only the worst of you. I only hope that one day that you can forgive me. '' Akeesha said as she bowed low to Jake.
