Alan, Angelika and Truda appeared back in the settlement to a myriad of shouts. Alan tried to take care up, too tired to even try to get to his feet. `` Thank you both, '' came an almost whisper from him as he once slumped to the ground.

Alan suddenly felt various pairs of strong arms elevator him, carrying him toward the nearby building. He swore he could hear the vocalization of Varick and Harman asking what had happened. He also heard both Truda and Angelika tell them that Alan had over done it again, right after his female parent called him an idiot.

A few moments later Alan felt that he was unceremoniously dumped in a bed. Too tired to hardly call on his question he let the iniquity payoff him. Crap he thought this was going to mess up a right day ! Even as he sank deeper into the wickedness he had the sense experience of flying, then like before he stopped short.

Looking around Alan saw once again that he was in the trap where it all had started. Growling he searched out his two nemesis's.

< I can feel you here show yourself ! > Alan heard the doc 's thinking screaming at him.

< As if you could do anything to me. You 've never been able to, what makes you think you can now ? > Alan 's thinking snarled back at him. < As I have said before you should get used to disappointment ! >

Reaching out Alan grabbed the Doctor's heart again actually starting to squeeze it. Suddenly thousands of possible hereafter appeared in his mind, all of which did n't include him in them. Growling with disgust Alan released his custody on the man 's heart.

< Still afraid of me are n't you ? > The Doctor sneered at Alan.

< NO ! > Alan shouted out, < though I think you are of me ! > This time Alan reached in as far as he could stimulating the reverence centerfield of the physician. Then Alan started to flora more and more than thought linked to the scummy fear he left there. < You remember, you are n't dealing with fry ! I will wipe out you one of these days for all the atrocities you have perpetrated on all of those that are here. >

Jerking awake Alan looked around the room, he was in a bed ? How ... then he remembered the day before. A movement near the threshold caught his attention.

'' So you are finally awake. '' The feminine representative said.

'' Yes, '' Alan croaked out his throat dry. `` How long ? ``

'' I think it was about twelve or baker's dozen hr not certainly. I do n't really keep time all that much now. '' The soft female part replied.

'' Helga ? '' Alan croaked out again as a glass of water appeared in his hired hand. After he 'd drained it he got back to Helga. `` How are you here and no one is throwing a fit ? '' Looking closer Alan could now see that she was n't really here. `` Ah ! I see a projection. I just learned to do that a few weeks ago. Very in effect ! You are only the sec I have seen do it. Though I have to ask how ? ``

The smiler of Helga blushed slightly, `` When you were healing me, you grew so weak but kept on going. You were so closemouthed to totality exhaustion but your judgement was still closed. It was n't well-fixed but I think I have it now. ``

There was a running game of feet as various people burst through the door. `` Alan ! '' He could hear Angelika yelling.

All of the new visitors stopped short when they caught the nearly vapourous visage of Helga. `` Helga ? '' They all heard Harman say in a low spokesperson. `` My god you are still alive ! ``

A shy grinning crossed her face as she nodded, `` It is soundly to see you and Varick, har, har. '' She said smiling larger.

growl, Harman took a step forward pointing a finger at her. `` I told you to never send for me that again ! ``

'' What are you going to do ? Spank me again ? '' The shy twenty something female with big blue eyes, long brownness hair and a slender figure told him.

Growling his cheek red Harman took a menacing pace forward. He suddenly stopped dead still at the chilling voice of his sister. `` Unless you want to be hitting air then sleep for a few more than hours, do n't you even think of hurting my friend ! '' Harman groaned then grabbed his stomach as he went running from the building. The mug issued a giggle at the smirk on Truda 's face.

'' I see you are still his boss. '' Helga said stifling another giggle.

'' Not as much as I used to, that I feel is thanks to Alan. As I am sure you can tell apart we owe him a great business deal. '' Truda replied.

'' Yes, we owe him a lot though he can still be an half-wit ! '' Angelika said causing Alan to roll his heart at her.

'' I have apologized many times mother, even you know that there are meter that you just ca n't turn back. I already felt that I failed Helga not completing her, '' here Alan whispering, `` causing her so much more pain. `` I 'm drab Helga it was never my intent to get you more, like me, you have suffered far More than you should suffer. '' Now there were snag falling freely from Alan 's eyes as he was reliving all the pain of his spring chicken, then much of Helga 's he 'd felt.

Collapsing back on the rearwards Alan 's remembering were starting to wrack his dead body with annoyance. Withering on the bed small groans started to come from his pharynx. Suddenly he felt himself crushed by not one but two cushy chests.

'' It 's all right Alan, goose egg will hurt you. '' Came a female voice.

Suddenly Alan tensed up his eyes going wide, `` Nein, nein ! Bitte hör auf ! Es tut so weh ! '' ( no, no ! Please stop ! It hurts so badly ! )

Another distaff voice suddenly broke in, `` Alan ! That was years ago ! Let it go, please let it go ! It 's the sole way you can survive ! Alan ! '' There was a ringing go as a helping hand slapped his face.

Alan immediately stiffened then relaxed, `` thank you Helga, again I am regretful I caused you more annoyance, pain you did n't deserve. '' With a sigh Alan relaxed but did n't speak or move for another hour.

Not long after Alan was finally able to sit up there was a disturbance outside the building he was in. 'Looking'outside he saw that all thirty of Helga 's tiddler were trying to get to where he was. < What is going on ? Why are all of you here ? > A worry Alan asked.

< Mr, mister ! Please help ! mother fell a little while ago ! We ca n't get her to heat up ! We 're scared you were the only one we could think of to avail. Please mister help mother ! > Came the near excited thoughts of Helga 's children.

< Alright go back to her, hold ! I 'll get off you to make believe sure she is well-to-do, I will be decent behind you. > Alan told all of them.

'' We're here Alan, what was that about ? '' Truda asked.

'' Helga 's minor said she fell and they ca n't get her awake. I am afraid that when I took that memory from her I did more scathe than supporter. Both Angelika and Truda were giggling at him and the astonished looking at on his grimace. Then they both started to laugh harder at the smug search his features took on. '' I will dear Quaker I will. '' Helga promised as the three of them flashed out appearing back in the building Alan had been in.

Alan fell into the bed closing his center he was rock awake minute later. Gingerly opening his eyes he was shocked to see Helga standing over him. `` howdy Alan ! '' She said with the enthusiasm of a child.

'' What are you doing here ? '' Alan asked the shock apparent on his face.

'' Oh, I was in the neighborhood ! '' She giggled at the antic she 'd just made.

'' What about your children ? Wo n't they startle looking for you ? '' A concerned Alan asked.

'' No they know I came to see you. By the way this is a W. C. Handy illusion to move around. '' She said as she snuggled against Alan in the bed with him. Try as he might he could n't hold open himself from becoming aroused at the closeness of her body.

Alan looked at his ripped shirt and torn knickers with a smile. Hell he thought it was worth it ! Appearing back in his room he dressed as quickly as he could. He needed to check on the progress of the others training.

Alan smiled as he watched the spring chicken pick himself up off the earth in the woods near where Harman had been.

Both waves met stopping for a here and now, then Varick 's wave was consumed by Alan 's. Reaching Varick, Alan could see that the wave he 'd ship was n't nearly as sinewy. Helping Varick up Alan smiled, `` I 'm gladiolus to see you went with a dissimilar tactic. Damn near worked too. ``

'' I 'd remembered the first time you fought the doctor. You had tried something like that. '' Alan nodded as he thought back to that day. He had n't really thought of it that way.

Emory took his place smiling at Alan. Rolling his eye Alan sent the wave. His Uncle sent his own weaker wave that was quickly consumed, somehow managed to rebuff some, then was trying to absorb the repose. Impressive Alan thought, 'til he saw that the man was trying to do far too much. Well over three fourths the wave was gone, but the residuum got through. Bouncing a few times to the road Emory started to laugh.

'' Now that was fun ! '' A smiling Emory said to Alan.

Weakening it more with another mental wave Alan smiled more than as it started to dissipate even more. Finally Alan flashed out appearing near the building. Waving his manus the doorway crushed like a giant fist had squeezed it. Alan turned as he felt what was left of the doc 's protectors starting to manoeuvre toward where he was.

Sending out a endorse more powerful wave of physical energy Alan felt almost all of the rest fall. Waving his hand in front of him everything parted as Alan advanced further into the building. Looking around he saw that the sadistic Doctor had been busy creating even more that was twisted and horrible.

Finally reaching the early end of the building Alan 's brow furrowed, he could still finger the Doctor. He 'd been through every meter of this piazza and nothing. Shaking his head he looked at the floor as it suddenly came to him. That 's why he 'd had such a severely time finding him ! Waving his hired man over the intact sweep of the base he smiled when he felt a turgid door.

Alan walked slowly toward the rear of the room then stopped when the finally set of visible light came up. A grimace crossed his nerve, there at the vertebral column of the room was a vast clear field glass container. Set in the middle floating in a greenish liquid was what appeared to be a man brain.

'' So, '' A weak vox came from several loudspeaker system in the way. `` You have actually found me. You, my son, see my shame. You are finally here so I can take what I have been nurturing all these eld. After I have your body I will put down all this so no other can require what I have achieved !
