'' How dare you belittle the slap-up war god in history. '' Ares growled out.

This comment of course had Ephus laughing harder. `` great ? You really are a dunce of war. I can only imagine that, you have no laurels what so ever. Unlike a true war god, I suspect that you only like sneak attacks, stabbing citizenry in the back, truly you are nothing but a commons thug. ``

'' Common ! ? I will gut you, cutting you into Thomas More spell than can ever be counted ! '' Ares screamed as he started a renewed set of attacks.

Laughing Ephus replied, `` oh really ? From what I have seen so far, I 'd say your chances of that are slim to non-existent. ``

They had been at it for an hour, when Epus nodded as he felt Zeus, plus all his buddy and Sister appear. They were a predetermined distance apart, around almost three face. A instant later he felt Aphrodite and her sisters appear beside them also a sure distance apart.

Well, Ephus thought almost of it is there, then nodded when Apate and her brother appeared filling in the rest of the holes. He then nodded his head almost all the holes, then smiled when he felt Eris slide into the last spot.

Finally, Ephus thought, one way or another it ended today, though he was hoping for the honorable outcome.

With a flavour at Ares, Ephus started to smile wider. `` What in the netherworld are you smiling about, I have you on the ropes now. It should n't be too long before I end you, then this rebellion to my power ! ``

This of course made Ephus smile even extensive, `` you really are far more stupid than I thought you were. You are so intention on the fight you have n't even felt the Osiris pack that is around us, though you might call it a expiry ring. ``

Still sneering, ar stopped a few feet before Eris. A swing of the blackness brand had absolutely no force at all. growling, ar swung the steel directly at Eris. To his utter amazement, the blade stopped well away from Eris as he was put away away.

ar then went to each god and goddess meeting with the Same results.

Ephus could only shake his head after each time was flung back then to the basis. Finally, Ares looked up at Ephus sitting comfortably.

'' This is unimaginable, I know it does not exist ! What guile is this ? I have never been defeated in battle ; I am not about to start ! '' Ares shouted as he swung as gruelling as he could.

Ephus barely deflected not expecting as much ability as Ares put into it. Well, Ephus thought, looks like I finally have him to the point that I was trying to get him to.

His reaction to Ares 's strike, was met with almost as much specialty. Ephus drew back coming together Ares 's sword again. That 's when the world froze again.

'' Hail Ephus, '' Aniketos said as he bowed to the ground. Amaunet was also bowing. `` I am truly sorry that things have to end as they are. We had thought you might have had another melodic theme for the first trouble. Alas, as we can see that is not to be. They have all formed the ring exactly as we instructed you. As you said it ends today no matter what. ``

'' With a few crying Amaunet passionately kissed Ephus, while her brother nodded his acquiescence. Then the brother grip Ephus hand in a friendly shake.

'' I am also sorry that there was no former way to free the two of you. Be well the both of you, wherever you both end up. '' A sad Ephus said.

comrade and sister both bowed again as they nodded. Both disappeared then the struggle was going again.

An hour later Ares was shocked that Ephus was still matching him bobble for blow. It was about that time that Ephus made his first plain misunderstanding, this drawing gasp behind them. Ephus nodded he knew that all his Egyptian wives were her also.

Where Ephus had been, a marvelous, long dark-haired woman of what appeared to be Egyptian lineage was standing. She was dressed in putting surface colored clothing.

'' You demand zilch you pitiable weakling god. You know nothing of power, real power. Long before any of you weaklings, the Titans ruled this world. This one, '' here Aniketos indicated Zeus, `` was the only one that was smarter than the giant though, he too lost much when he defeated them. You all may put out, it is done. We are past tense ready to die, thanks to Ephus we finally can. ``

'' We used all the mogul that we had to keep all of you alive as was Ephus 's want. care for your sisters, the tike he has given all of you. '' Here Aniketos looked at Cytherea, Cynthia and Pallas. Waving his manus Enyo appeared, `` I am drab it took as long as it did, '' Aniketos waved his hired man over Enyo.

Amaunet looked to Serket, `` yours will be a special one I can see. ``

Aniketos turned to his sis, `` I can finally find it, I have waited so long. ``

'' Yes brother, I can feel it also. '' Amaunet said as she took her brother 's hand. `` Finally, it is over. ``

With that both were suddenly rubble that was gently blown away.

Suddenly all of Ephus wives and the four Hellenic goddesses were wailing out in deep despair.

Thoth looked at his brother wanting to explain though did n't for the outset time did n't know how to.



Ephus was floating in what seemed to be a white nullity. Releasing a sigh, he was glad he 'd set up all that he had. How he was going to miss his wife and shaver. At least they were safe now.

( So, ) A part invaded his thoughts. ( You think that this completely selfless sacrifice would go by with no rebound ? No reward or penalisation ? )

'' Punishment ? I am idle, taken from all those that I love and love me. To me not much more soul wrenching botheration than that. '' Ephus said.

Ephus smiled he 'd thought that one or Sir Thomas More of the Titans might have tried something like that. That 's why he 'd built up his power as high as he had. Though he was a slight worried.

It had been a week ; Thoth was actually suffering because he could n't tell a soul. No, he 'd promised Ephus with his solemn Word of God, something he could ever transgress. His sister and the Hellenic language goddesses were suffering also though, far risky than him. Why did no one see that they were all still alive ?

He was sure he 'd experience felt something by now. Perhaps Ephus was having a far harder metre than Thoth thought he might. Afterall the godling was still alive. There was no power however gravid that keep the goddesses alive, the adherence Ephus had were far too strong to be maintained by bare magic.

Then there was the fact that neither Hades nor Osiris could feel the disembodied spirit of Ephus. They both swore that Ephus had been destroyed, though with the evidence staring them in the face they could n't see. No, they were both ignoring the fact that though they had seen him fade they could n't see how he could be, was alive.

He scanned the celestial sphere and the realms again Thoth 's eyes opened widely, was that him ? By the whole land this power was far greater than anything he'd felt in a prospicient time. Was it Ephus ?

By all his knowledge, whatever or whomever it was they were coming in hard ! Reaching out Thoth was surprised when he put his wide power before it he could n't slow it much.

Appearing before Zeus and Ra, Thoth directed both of their attention toward the sky. `` I am sure that Ephus would not want the planet his human married woman and fry are on to be destroyed. I believe we only need to slow it to half what it is moving now. ``

Zeus nodded though Ra was looking at Thoth suspiciously, a import later both God extended their arms putting both their king before the fast-approaching object.

It was then noticed that though both were using their full power they both seemed to be struggling.

Thoth shook his head, damn it ! Why in the blaze had he made that promise to Ephus. Was he that afraid that he might not piddle it back ? Thoth nodded yes that had to be the reason.

Thoth fingered the amulet that was secured around his cervix. He really hoped that this plan of Ephus 's really worked. There was a lot more at stake than just this world and Ephus 's animation much, practically more.

Thoth could finally feel the object starting to slacken though it was n't as lot at least now it wouldn't crushed leather half the planet.

Ephus had been removing part of Iapetus the unharmed time he 'd been coming back. He had n't paid that much aid as the closer to earthly concern he got the faster he got. He 'd just entered the atmospheric state when he felt a power try to slow up him.

That 's weird Ephus thought, that felt the most like Thoth, though it was very weak to him. He thought he flung the in conclusion piece away back the way he 'd come when he felt what felt like Zeus then Ra.

It was about that sentence that he realized that he was moving far faster than he thought was dependable. Shit he thought if I hit the Earth this intemperate, I might vaporize half the damn planet.

Ephus was about to try and slack his self when he swore, he suddenly felt not only Zeus but Ra also. What the netherworld ? ! They had never cooperated before why the hell would they now ?

Almost too late Ephus reached out to the globe pushing against it, tell on this is going to be close. shit I think it is going to hurt a bit too ! Ephus thought as he hit the ground very hard, drilling downward a few miles.

All the Egyptian immortal and goddesses that were close to Ephus, along with all the Hellenic language God and goddesses appeared beside the hole. All were reaching into the hole trying to see who or what it was.

They all looked at each former when they could feel aught ! Then a few present moment after that they could all feel something rising out of the maw. All there powered up as high as they could go, though a few tried and true to promote even further.

Ephus managed to gather enough powerfulness to embark on rising out of the fix. Shit he thought, that was the most tax on him than anything he 'd ever ... what the Hell ? That was a hell of a lot of power ! dogshit he thought as he tried to farm his power more, had the Titans escaped afterall ? It felt as if there were more than a few fully powered graven image, umm there were goddesses too !

All around the hole felt whatever was down there, powerfulness up more, damn they all thought can all of us take it ?

It took him a few minutes then he was loose of the hole. Looking at the group around him he saw all of them relax when they saw him. Ok he thought, that 's safe as he relaxed his power, shaking his mind he thought its good though ... who in the sin were they all ?

He landed none too gently, they all started toward him when he held up his mitt. `` It is obvious that you all know me, perhaps even my great protagonist. I am indisputable that you are overjoyed to see me but I do n't appear to recall any of you. '' Ephus said then his human knee buckled, his middle rolled back in his head, then he fell face first to the ground.

It was several days later when Ephus eye popped assailable, confused he looked around not sure of where he was. Near by there seven children playing on the level, well near the floor.

One, a young boy was nearly in tears as he tried to reach out to the others. The others were laughing at the one slight boy 'til the sometime looking girl appeared and landed beside the boy pulling him in for a hug. The piddling boy sobbed on her shoulder while the footling girl stared obelisk at the others.

Ephus stared hard at the picayune fille feeling something almost break in his mind.

'' It 's fine Ephus, I wo n't let them do this anymore. '' She growled at the others.

The others continued to laugh 'til they were all suddenly falling to the floor a looking at of astonishment on their faces. The little girl was smiling as she was staring at Ephus on his bed. Ephus smiled back as he swore, he knew her and the rest period of the children.

'' H ... Hy na ? '' Ephus said hesitantly.

The little girl 's smile got great as she started yelling, `` aunty Serket ! ``

Almost immediately a picket, young looking, female appeared with what appeared to be a scorpion on her heading and a was-scepter in one hand. She gasped as her backtalk opened though nothing came out. She then moved to Ephus as she started to examine him.

Within moments the room was crowed as more than ten goddesses then more than ten immortal appeared. They were all a mix of Greek and Egyptian.

They all waited patiently while Serket examined Ephus with a very life-threatening face. Finally finished with her forcible exam she extended her hands over Ephus. She held still for More than ten minute of arc then slowly looked at Ephus.

'' Do you recognize anyone in this elbow room besides Hyna ? '' Serket asked.

Ephus turned to expect at all that were there. One female caught his attending, she wore a mask of a cat. In one hand she held a sistrum. `` You, '' Ephus pointed to her. You 're Bast, my ... married woman ? One of many I seem to withdraw. ``

All in the room nodded as they all came forth to thank him. Huh ? Ok he thought.



It was three weeks later, Ephus memory had returned, he 'd advised Zeus of what had happened. When he mentioned the Titans, Zeus nodded slightly angered then he and his brother and sis disappeared for a while.

During that fourth dimension three of the four Greek goddesses had also become Ephus 's wife. Well, he thought t least now we have peace.

Thanks to Serket, Ephus had made a full recovery. Finally, he thought, a probability to rest, which he 'd been at the whole time. He was starting on his fourth week when he felt a titanic psychological disorder a few statute mile away.

Ephus reaching out could only shake his head, ah fuck ! Again ? Sighing Ephus parted the cloud as he felt another dead body declivity through a rift. Shaking his question he thought of the consistency appearing before him.

Almost Immediately a tall, long, blonde haired appeared before him. Her clothes were almost rags seemingly to deliver been almost buffeted from her body.

Her heart were immense as she stared at Ephus, bending on her knee she said, `` Anata, anata wa efusudesu tasuketekudasai ! '' ( You, you are Ephus please assistance ! ) Ephus was about to ask her who she was when she promptly passed out.

Shit Ephus thought once more, not again. `` Bast ! ``
