The windfall of a cannon woke me from a deep sleep which I did n't guess I would get in the arena. It even took me a minute to record that I was even still in the area after I opened my eyes and looked around the cave. As I did so, images of what happened the nighttime before with Glimmer crept into my thoughts and I instantly smiled at the dumbfound joy I got from this girl. I looked down at the blonde still snuggled up to me with my jacket around her. I smiled even more as my warmheartedness fluttered. I did n't know what this feeling was but I liked it.

I happily watched her quietus, loving the warmth that she was giving me since the flaming of the flame had died out and it got chilly at night. As I sat there, my limb wrapped around glimmering and holding her tight, I thought back a few minutes to the cannon that woke me up and wondered who it was for. What if it was for the boy from my district, Peeta ? I felt a bad flavor in my stomach. The fact that I chose Allies with a different territory instead of my own in these unforgivable games made me feel like dogshit. I now wondered what the quietus of dominion 12 was thinking about me.

My thoughts were interrupted when intimation began rousing out of her sopor. I looked down at her and smiled when she looked up at me and our eyes met.

'' Hi. '' She said sleepily, a warm smile on her fount as she snuggled even more up to me.

'' Hey. '' I said back, pushing a piece of her blond pilus out of her case. After I said this, Glimmer 's hand came up and rested on my cheek. I continued to smile as I gently pushed my nerve more into her hand.

'' Glimmer explained.

It was honest. But not in a whole. I saved her life sentence, from dying right there. She was still on the sharpness of destruction. Everyone in the scene of action was.

'' Come here. '' She held out her hands down to me and I took them before I stood up. I was a couple column inch taller than she was so I had to look down at her slightly. I did n't know what to say so it was silence for about 30 seconds before I heard Glimmer sniff softly and I turned my head to take care at her. Tears were slowly making their way down her face. I never thought I would be so heartbroken to see her crying like that. Someone so beautiful and sugariness should n't be crying.

I truly did n't hump what to say. I was fighting against what my heart wanted, I did n't want to get so committed because it would make it that much hard if one of us dies.

I went to open my mouth and distinguish her what I was feeling but before I could, Glimmer pushed me away roughly which caused me to mislay my weapon traction around her shank and to stumble back a few steps.

"You know what, I don't care. You obviously don't feel the same way about me so Im just going to leave."Glimmer snapped out of angriness for my hesitation. I frowned and watched as Glimmer bent down and kidnap my jacket off the primer. She already had her own jacket which was basically selfsame to mine.

"Umm that's mine."I said softly but Glimmer just slung it around her shoulder joint and held it to her before she headed towards the mouth of the cave.

"See it as a barter for the bow and arrows."She said before she disappeared into the sunlight. After she was gone, I felt empty and I wasn't sure why. It wasn't like I loved her back, did I ? I couldn't. Sitting down on the floor of the cave, I sighed and stared at the spile of ashes from the flak. Why did she have to take my crownwork ? How was I supposed to subsist the Night ? I sat there and wondered where glimmering was heading and if she was now considered the enemy. It didn't seem like she was an ally anymore.

About a half an hr of sitting there and thinking to myself, I stood up and catapult the quiver of bows over my shoulder and took the silver bow in my hand before I headed out the cave. When I stepped out into the sunshine, I glanced left and right. I had no musical theme which way Glimmer had gone but I had to notice her before someone else did. I decided to go to the left wing and heading into the thicker part of the forest. She couldn't have gotten that far with that limp. I wondered into the woods looking for any sign of gleaming but I couldn't find one thing that would work me believe that she went this way.

I sighed in frustration and turned around to come out heading back the way I came. Maybe she decided to go to the right which led back to the J. J. Hill where she had fallen and to the profuseness. God, I hoped she didn't go to the Cornucopia. That's where the supplies such as weapons and medicine were and no uncertainty other tribute would be hanging around. Glimmer would be the unadulterated target. I picked up my pace to a tacit jog when I came to the cave, wanting to get to Glimmer before anyone else did. When I got to the hill and found roughly where Glimmer had fallen, I looked down at the shite for rails. And low-and-behold, a boot print, sweet, and about the same size as mine was seeable in the dirt.

I hung the bow on my shoulder before I headed up the hill. It was fairly steep so I had to snap up onto bushes and tree arm to help me from falling backwards. It took me about 5 minutes to gain the top of the pitcher's mound. I looked around for any other signal for Glimmer but nothing presented itself. I started in the instruction of the Cornucopia, guessing that since she was on her own that she would have to get a weapon or supply. I walked 15 M before I stopped in my tracks, my centre locked on my jacket crown laying on the ground. I slowly approached it, looking around before I picked it up. Why would glimmer drop-off this ? I looked to the ground for footprints to give me some kind of mite of which direction she went when the earsplitting riot rang out and I bolted for the Cornucopia. It didn't quite well-grounded like Glimmer but that didn't mean value it couldn't be her.

When I came to the edge of the forest where it thinned out into a clear discipline, I stopped running and knelt behind a bush. Just as I did, a shank roar sounded as I watched the humble body of district 11's female child sliding off the blade of Cato's sword. Rue I think her public figure was. Cato was the boy from District 2 and was in the group of calling. He was certainly one of the people that I knew would probably be responsible for my death.

I heard him laugh out at the dead girl on the ground before he turned to the boy behind him that I hadn't noticed until Cato moved. Peeta ? I was for sure that was him but my heart stopped when I saw the struggling Glimmer in his limb, his hired man over her mouth. What the fuck ?

"Fuck you !"Glimmer snapped at him as she continued to shinny against Peeta's hold. Cato responded with a severe back hand across her face causing her to yelp out in pain.

"If you aren't going to help, I have no use for you."He said before he raised his steel."I'll give you one more chance. If she hears you, she'll ejaculate running for you."He raised his eyebrows slightly and waited for her to response.

By then I had had enough of this crap so I took detainment of the bow and loaded an arrow. I pulled back the string back and aimed for Cato's head word. He was in a difficult berth to land a perfect shot in his eye. When Cato raised his sword after a minute of gleam not answering, I began to draw back my paw from the string but as I let it go, I was trackled hard to the soil, causing the pointer to fly off it's intended target. "Lookie what we got here."He said before stood up and took cargo area of my braid, yanking me to my invertebrate foot as I cry out in pain."Nice to see you again, daughter on Fire."He mocked before he pulled me out of the brush and into the airfield towards Cato, bow clutched hard in my hand.

"Stop squirming, you little squawk !"He snapped as he now was holding inkling in his sleeve who struggled hard against his grip. I kept my pace with marvel as he still had delay of my haircloth, my eye looking from Cato to Peeta who was laying dead on the dry land, my silver arrow sticking out of his cheek from where it entered through his eye. If I only came minutes earlier, I could have got saved her.

"Katniss !"She shouted out when she saw me. I wanted so bad to run to her and keep her safe. Cato looked up from Glimmer to me and smirked.

"Oh looks like we found the squawk after all."He said as marvel nodded and we finally came to a plosive consonant."Look what you did, you piffling snatch. You killed your Lover Boy."Cato mocked."pillock bitch."He snapped. Seconds after he spoke, a cannon sounded then about a minute after, another one sounded which caused Cato to chuckle and bet around."Clove is doing a unspoiled job."

I looked from Cato to the missy in his arms who had stopped struggling and was watching me. I wanted to assist her so bad but Marvel had a vice grip on my plait. It hurt so bad that I could barely do anything.

I laughed softly and excite my headway as I looked to the side for a minute. After a moment, I looked at her with my expression good."I love you."I said softly and when she raised her eyebrows slightly, I smiled and nodded slowly."Yes, I love you. I care a lot about you and I realized that when we were back there."Before Glimmer had meter to answer, I heard rustling behind me and without mentation, I pulled an arrow from the quiver, loaded it on the bow before I turned around and let it fly, hitting marvel in the spirit and killing him minutes after he fell to the dry land. The cannon windfall confirmed this.

But I wasn't ready to shoot for when Cato came charging from the other direction at me but I pushed Glimmer away and stepped back so Cato when flying right between us. I was so pissed that they followed that I ripped the tongue from my shoulder and threw it at him. I tried my hired hand once at throwing knives back at the preparation snapper but I could never hit the prey. It wasn't the showcase this time. Cato was so conclude that the knife flew and stabbed right into his cover. He yelled out in pain and fell to the ground.

Before he could get up, I stepped on the tongue and used my kick to labour him back down and promote the knife in further. He gasped for air when I drew an arrow from my quiver and loaded it on my bow.

I struggled hard against his clutches as another came to facilitate but before he could put his hands on me, I kicked him back and twisted out of the grip of the early one. I fell to the ground and quickly grabbed the gun from the peacekeeper's holster.
